SOLANA RESEARCH GUIDE

A clearer workflow for researching Solana memecoins.

Researching a Solana memecoin starts with its contract address, competing launches and available risk evidence. VampGuard is a browser extension that brings these checks onto supported Axiom and Terminal charts. This guide shows how to interpret the card’s results, what to verify separately and where a scanner’s assessment can be incomplete.

1. How do I check whether I am viewing the official token?

Compare the full Solana mint address on your chart with the address published by the project’s independently verified channels. A ticker, logo or matching name is not enough: separate tokens can share all three. Check the complete address, not just its first or last few characters.

VampGuard checks available posts associated with the linked X account for matching contract-address evidence. CA posted means a match was found; No matching CA post found means that evidence was not found in the available results. An UNOFFICIAL · CA mismatch warning highlights conflicting address context. Check the account itself through other trusted project channels, because a matching post alone does not establish who controls the account or whether the token is safe.

2. What is a vamp token, and how can I track competing launches?

In VampGuard, a vamp is a potentially competing token launch surfaced for comparison. Related names, artwork or social context can help you investigate whether launches are competing for attention. The label does not prove that a token copied another project or that either project is legitimate.

VampGuard surfaces qualifying comparisons in its display card. FIRST LAUNCH and LATER LAUNCH describe timing within the comparison. A Vamp label highlights a competing launch for research; it does not establish legal ownership of a name, image or idea.

3. Which red flags can a Solana memecoin scanner highlight?

Risk indicators can help you decide where to spend attention. VampGuard’s SCAM, bundled-wallet, holder-cluster and fresh-wallet warnings provide different forms of context alongside the chart. Read the available signals together instead of treating any single label as a complete explanation.

Screening sensitivity can be adjusted through the audit level. An automated assessment depends on the information available at the time and may change as new information arrives. No warning system can guarantee that a token will remain safe.

4. Can a scanner tell me that a memecoin will not rug?

No. A scanner can surface observed risk signals, but it cannot guarantee future behavior or predict every rug pull. A check that is still running is not the same as a check that found no concern. Unavailable market data or missing social evidence leaves part of the research unresolved.

Use the display card to organize your next checks, then verify important details with independent sources. The goal is a more informed workflow, not automatic trading decisions.

How should I evaluate a Solana memecoin scanner?

Compare the questions each tool can actually answer: which token is on the chart, which launches may compete with it, which holder or bundle signals are available, and whether social posts match the token address. Check supported platforms and whether the tool clearly separates completed, pending and unavailable results.

Then evaluate the workflow. Can you inspect the evidence, move the overlay out of the way and open a competing token’s chart? Does scanning require wallet permissions, and are the product’s access conditions clear? VampGuard’s website demo lets you explore the interface with simulated data; it is not a live scan or an accuracy benchmark.

VampGuard is preparing for early access, with a free early-access waitlist. Its public previews show Solana workflows on Axiom and Terminal. Use the platform guides below to assess compatibility and the bundle guide to understand its warning labels before deciding whether it fits your research.

Bring the workflow onto your chart

VampGuard combines token comparisons, launch-order context, X contract-address evidence and automated risk warnings in a browser extension. It currently supports Solana research on Axiom and Terminal, without requiring a wallet connection to scan.

Explore the simulated demo to see how the card works, read the documentation for label explanations, or join the waitlist for early-access updates. VampGuard is not affiliated with Axiom, Terminal or pump.fun.
